Hand Treatment

The treatment is straight forward and our nurse practitioner will use a very fine needle to place small quantities of Radiesse beneath the surface of the skin in your hands. Each treatment takes about ten to twenty minutes and is generally not painful as local anaesthetic is used during treatment. Most people find that they can return to work the following day after this procedure.

How is the treatment carried out?
Your first discussion with our specialist practitioner should clearly set out your expectations of the treatment and the practitioner should tell you whether or not these results are achievable.
How many treatments will I need?
Staged treatments (spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart) slowly adding volume, and performing daily massage over the injected areas is the best way to ensure a smooth-looking result.
What can I expect after treatment?
Radiesse is not a permanent filler. It is a long lasting, resorbable filler – with the effect claimed to last approximately 2 years depending on the client and the area treated.
Are there any side effects?
Studies have not been performed on women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Although Radiesse is not thought to be dangerous, treatment is best avoided during this time.
Helps restore a more youthful appearance to hands
Reduces the appearance of tendons and veins
Delivers smooth, natural-looking results that last up to a year in most patients
